Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park located in the state of West Bengal in it’s most famous tourist destination of India “Darjeeling”. The zoo is named after Padmaja Naidu the daughter of Sarojini Naidu, opened to the public in the year 1958. Padmaja Naidu Zoo opens 8.30 AM to 4.30 PM in Summertime and 8.30 AM to 4 PM in Winter time. To visit this zoological park the zoo authority charges very nominal charges, for Indian and SAARC Nationals it is Rs.20/- per person, Rs.10/- is charged for the camera and for foreign national they charge Rs.50/- per person, for camera Rs.10/- per head. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park is the polythene-free zone and visitors have to follow some DO’s and DON’t rule as per the zoo authority.
